Latest versions for iPhone 4S are annoying

I have to tap the screen of my iPhone 4S (9.3.1) dozens of times to see the whole content of each blink as it is not correctly displayed.

I wish the dark background with white fonts reading mode was as dark as the invert colors version of the iPhone
